This Legal Center explains how the StudyPulse legal documents work together.

The Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions approved on 16 July 2026 remain part of the legal set. The documents listed here supplement them.

1. About this Legal Center

StudyPulse provides an AI-enabled learning platform for independent learners, educators, parents and guardians, schools, training providers, companies, NGOs, government bodies, and other organizations. This Legal Center brings together the policies and contractual documents that govern use of the StudyPulse websites, applications, dashboards, APIs, integrations, AI-assisted tools, content services, and related support.

The documents apply according to the user, account type, organization arrangement, plan, transaction, and applicable law. Some documents apply directly to all users, while others apply primarily to organization customers or only when StudyPulse processes personal data on their behalf.

2. Legal documents

3. How the documents work together

The Terms and Conditions form the main agreement for use of the Service. An order form, subscription page, invoice, statement of work, enterprise agreement, or other written transaction record may add commercial terms.

The Privacy Policy explains StudyPulse data practices where StudyPulse determines the purposes and means of processing. For organization-managed data, the organization generally acts as controller or responsible entity and StudyPulse generally acts as processor or service provider.

The Data Processing Addendum supplements the Terms and any order form when StudyPulse processes personal data for an organization. If there is a conflict concerning processing of Customer Personal Data, the Data Processing Addendum controls to the extent of that conflict. A signed enterprise agreement or order form may expressly override a standard term.

The Cookie Policy supplements the Privacy Policy for data stored on or accessed from browsers and devices. The Compliance Statement is informational and does not replace a contract, law, regulator decision, or independent certification.

4. StudyPulse roles in data processing

StudyPulse as controller or responsible business

StudyPulse generally determines the purposes and means of processing for website inquiries, independent accounts, direct subscriptions, billing administration, fraud prevention, platform security, service communications, and legal compliance.

StudyPulse as processor or service provider

Where a school, university, business, training provider, NGO, government body, or other organization submits or manages personal data through its workspace, that organization generally determines the educational or operational purpose. StudyPulse processes that data under the organization's instructions, the Data Processing Addendum, and applicable law.

Organization responsibilities

Organizations are responsible for lawful account invitations, role assignments, notices, permissions, parental or guardian authorization where required, legal bases, retention instructions, and the content they upload or direct users to provide.

5. Children, learners, and education records

StudyPulse may be used by learners of different ages. Children below the applicable digital-consent age must not create independent accounts unless authorized through a lawful parent, guardian, or educational institution process.

For school-managed education records, requests should normally be directed to the relevant school or organization. StudyPulse will assist the organization as required by contract and applicable law. Private learner notes and private AI conversations are not visible to parents or guardians by default unless a lawful and clearly disclosed setting provides otherwise.

6. AI transparency and human oversight

Pulse.E and other AI features may generate explanations, summaries, questions, flashcards, study plans, assessments, feedback, transcriptions, and recommendations. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsuitable for a particular learner.

AI output must be reviewed by a qualified human before it is used for official grading, admissions, discipline, employment, safeguarding, clinical decisions, disability determinations, or another decision that may materially affect a person. StudyPulse does not authorize customers to use the Service as the sole basis for high-impact decisions.

7. Requests, complaints, and legal notices

Privacy requests, data-processing questions, accessibility concerns, copyright notices, security reports, and other legal inquiries may be sent to the contact below. Include enough information to identify the relevant account or organization, but do not send passwords or highly sensitive documents by ordinary email unless StudyPulse provides a secure method.

8. Updates

StudyPulse may update legal documents to reflect changes in law, technology, features, vendors, or business practices. Each document states its effective date. Where required, StudyPulse will provide additional notice of material changes.
